Hyacinthoides hispanica is a magnificent Spanish flowering plant which is easy to grow and requires lesser care. This beautiful herb is native to Europe and especially Spain and Portugal. Usually, the flowers are found in white, pink and white shades and it is popular to be grown as a fantastic garden plant. Commonly named as the Spanish bluebell, the plant has the distinctive feature of having its paler, larger blue flowers, more erect flower stem, broader leaves, blue anthers and little or no scent compared to the strong fragrant scent of the northern species. Hyacinthoides hispanica is generally considered strong resistant to pests, diseases and other damaging animals. Spanish bluebells are perennial herbs that grow from a bulb and are mainly found in the vicinity of villages, towns and cities.
