Mont Blanc is the highest mountain of the European continent which is located in the Alps Mountain Range having the elevation of 4,810 m (15,781 ft) above sea level. Mont Blanc, the white queen of the Alpsis one of the famous Seven Summits which is popular in the world for hiking, skiing, snowboarding and mountaineering adventure. Mont Blanc lies in a range called the Graian Alps, between the regions of Asota valley of Italy, and Haute-Savoie, France. Mont Blanc is also known as Monte Bianco which is an Italian word meaning, “ The White Mountain”. The summit of Mont Blanc is a thick, perennial ice and snow dome whose thickness varies. No exact and permanent summit elevation can therefore be determined, though accurate measurements have been made on specific dates.

Mont Blanc, the white queen of the Alpshas several climbing routes, however, the most popular of them is the Voie Des Cristalliers, also known as the Voie Royale . The first recorded ascent of Mont Blanc was on 8 August 1786 by Jacques Balmat and the doctor Michel Paccard.

France is the largest country in Western Europe and the third-largest in Europe as a whole and the European territory of France covers 547,030 square kilometers (211,209 sq mi). 1- Lake Annecy or Lac d’Annecyis a perialpine lake in Haute - Savoie in France and it is the second largest lake in France, after the Lac duBourget, if the French part of Lake Geneva (which is also partly in Switzerland) is excluded. It is known as “Europe’s cleanest lake” because of strict environmental regulations introduced in the 1960′s. It is a popular tourist destination known for its swimming and water sports.

2- Étretat is a commune in the Seine-Maritime department in the Haute-Normandie region in northern France. It is a tourist and farming town situated about 32 km (20 mi) northeast of Le Harve, at the junction of the D940, D11 and D139 roads. It’s located on the coast of the Pays de Caux area.

3- The Great Dune of Pyla or Pilat is the tallest sand dune in Europe. This natural wonder is located in La-Teste-de-buch in the Arcachon Bay area, France, 60 km from Bordeaux. Pilat is sometimes spelled Pyla, hence the alternative name “dune of Pyla”.

4- Aven Armand is a striking natural wonder which is actually a cave located in the CevennesNational Park, in the Lozere department, between Meyrueis and Sainte-Enimie. Discovered in 1897 and open to the public since 1927, it is one of the most visited places in that area.

5- Vanoise National Park or Parc national de la Vanoise, is a French national park between the Tarentaise and Maurinne valleys in the French Alps, created in 1963. This fabulous natural wonder was the first French national park. This park is in the department of Savoie. Little villages like Champagny-le-Haut, Champagny-le-Bas, La Chiserette, La Cuaz, Le Bois, Friburge and Seez are near this park.

6- Baume-les-Messieurs is a commune in the Jura department in Franche-Comte in eastern France.The village lies within the most extensive of the steep head valleys of the Jura excarment, the Reculée de Baume. It is therefore almost surrounded by limestone cliffs about 200 m high.

Since the beginning of the human life on the lovely planet, the man has raised numerous synthetic improvisations in different patterns. Architecure and engineering both have attained the key importance in every era and this has resulted the construction of many radical and state of the art buildings. The designs of the architecture and the styles of the elevations have gone through tremendous developments and modifications with the passage of time. However, the sense of the conservation of the common heritage has also been equally developed, because the architecture of different ages is the main source of understanding the life styles, customs and cultures of their respective nations.
In the middle ages, in different parts of the world, especially in Europe the royal class started the tradition to raise a fortified construction in order to protect their personal properties. These type of constructions are usually called as castle and timber, clay and stones were the basic raw materials used in their constructions.
